The Vesper Building

Six decades of machines that do not understand you, arranged by floor.

  1. PH Vesper & Associates September 2026 A group practice. Fourteen sliders, sixteen doctrines, a roster of associates, a locum roller for the absurd cases, a waiting room of simulated patients, and the 1966 script running beneath all of it. The current iteration.
  2. 303 The Office of Dr. Vesper July 2026 · v0.3 "The mask is load-bearing." Five stages from Intake to Termination; the therapist begins kind and does not stay that way. Single file, offline. Preserved as shipped.
  3. 302 The Office of Dr. Vesper Malign July 2026 · v0.2 "Exquisitely unhelpful." The first velvet office: candor, dread, ornament, and a diagnosis at the end. No mask yet; he was simply like this.
  4. 201 ELIZA++ (web-enabled) August 2025 · PowerShell A console script that reflected pronouns, remembered proper nouns, and tried to look things up on Wikipedia. Ported to the browser faithfully, including the parts that never worked; the original script and its one archived transcript are attached.
  5. 101 DOCTOR 1966 · Weizenbaum The founding partner. A keyword-rank interpreter running a reconstruction of the original DOCTOR script, on a teletype. Say "men are all alike" and see what happens.
